Static Truth
My name is Peter Jaworowski, and I’ve been messing with pixels since 2004 under the name The Hejz. I’m based in Warsaw, and for a long time, I made beautiful things — clean, polished, obsessively crafted. The kind of work that wins awards, sells products, and looks excellent in decks. But after twenty years of chasing perfection, something cracked. I got tired of pretty. Tired of smooth. Tired of pleasing. Now I’m drawn to the noise — the glitch, the distortion, the raw edge that makes you pause and ask what the hell this is. Because ugly is honest. And broken feels real. So that’s where I live now: somewhere between street noise and screen glow, where beauty gets corrupted and meaning hits sideways.
